Strip-till in horticulture: Farmers and growers collaborate to solve unanswered questions
On 24th January, 20 farmers and growers gathered in bright winter sunshine at Leah and Jake Harris’s farm in South Devon to discuss all things strip tillage, commonly known as strip-till. The event came about through interest shown by Martyn Bragg at Shillingford Organics, who contacted us in 2022 suggesting a field lab looking at strip-till in horticulture in a herbicide-free context.
